AUTUMN 2007
Autumn and AGM seem to go together in our neck of the woods. This years meeting was very interesting. Mrs Jepson, representing the School Governers and PC Turner, who is our local constable joined us for the meeting to discuss the problems we are having at the school.
There was no change in the officers of the committee. Chris Brown is Chairperson, Julie Barber is Secretary and Graham Biddington was voted in for his second year as Treasurer. All the other committee menbers were willing to stand again, so we still have a nice mix of Upper and Lower Cumberworth representatives.
Mrs Jepson then told in detail the detail the damage that has beren done to the school building and grounds and PC Turner offered his advice about locking all the gates and making the boundaries secure.
Plans have not been finalised yet as to how to prevent damage to the school, but the Association pledged to support measures the school wish to put in place.
If anyone sees any vandalism in progess and wants to ring the Police but does not want a house call, just make this clear on the phone and no house call will be made.
